It happens tomorrow!

The pool is opening tomorrow, Saturday May 27. Come test out the waters yourself, which are currently waiting for you at 80 degrees.

We would also like to welcome two new Board Members. Sharon McDowell has agreed to be our President Elect and Damion Miller has agreed to serve as Secretary. Thank you!!!  

The secretary will transfer after Memorial Day. If you'd like your keys this weekend, please come to Christine's house to pay the $400 dues and get your key (2529 Alexander CT) . Damion will let you know how to contact him after Memorial Day

Getting Closer...

Hello Northview Swim Club Members….

We had some great help last Saturday, and our pool is looking great.  Come help us finish it this Saturday from 9-12.  (If you physically can’t help, drop a snack off to the workers. :-)  The pool will open NEXT weekend, Memorial Weekend.

We have 28 paid members so far this year.  I will be at the pool from 9-12 if you would like to pay your dues and exchange your keys.

The new lock is in!  (Thank you Emmaline and George).  Please try your key and if it does not work, see above sentence.  The big bolt is on, so you won’t be able to open the door, but the lock should turn to let you know the key is working.

Work Parties - May 13 and May 20

Good morning!!!!

We hope to see some of you in a bit.  We will be at the pool from 9-12 TODAY, Saturday May 13

 • You can pay your $400 dues and get a key

 • You can help beautify the pool.  Bring gloves, rakes, tools that you like to use.  Or come bring something to haul away the green garbage

  • Don’t know what to do?  Come by and ask.  Come meet other new pool members…

We currently have 23 paid members… only 40 more to go to reach our goal!

We will also be there on Saturday May 20 from 9-12  with the same agenda.

The pool will open on May 27th…  I will be there for a bit on this morning to exchange keys…I’ll let you know the time later.

AFTER MEMORIAL DAY…. You are at the whim of this “retired” secretary's schedule if you want a key… Please come pay your dues and get your key on one of the Saturdays that I will be there.

Hello Members of the Northview Swim Club-

• If you haven’t driven by yet… please notice our new “Northview Swim Club” sign.  We offer many thanks for the time donated by the Propson family!

• New Secretary needed… sadly, due to some unforeseen circumstances, Anna will not be able to fill the secretary role at this time.    We need someone to step up and do this wonderful job!

                        - send out emails/read emails that come to box

                        - meet with board 4-5 times/ year

                        - keep notes at those meetings 

                        - exchange keys

                        - keep up the membership information (currently using Excel spreadsheet)

            We are all busy… yup yup yup.

• WE NEED LIFEGUARDS!!!! Please send references to the board!!!  (or use this Northview Swim email)

• We had a work party this weekend… Thanks to the few and the brave who came out to help

            The black plastic tarp has been rinsed, dried, and put away.

·         The pool has been drained, cleaned, and filled. 

·         John Proposon and family installed the sign (it looks great!) and completed taking out the bush that was between the sign and the sidewalk.

·         Much work was done yesterday and today on trimming back the bushes and weeding.  

·         Thanks to the Knicks for finding a couple of lounge chairs!

• THIS SATURDAY…  (Or come any day that is convenient for you)

            • We need  trailers to haul green stuff to the dump

            • The weeds are loving the warm weather… come take them away

            • Our community Pool is missing its community… please come visit it.

Meeting Tonight - April 20, 2017

Hello Members!

Don’t forget there is a Northview SwimClub General Membership Meeting tonight.  7:00 PM at the pool.

Bring your check for dues, $400, if you’d like this year’s key.

We are still in need of a President Elect for our Board membership.  Please consider helping if it has been more than 7 years since your last board (or never) service.  We will train you!
