Tentative 2009 Schedule

The tentative operating schedule for 2009 is:

Monday-Thursday: 6:30AM – 9:00PM
Friday-Saturday: 6:30AM – 10:00PM
Sunday: 12:00PM – 9:00PM

Summer Lifeguard Hours
Sunday-Saturday: 1:30PM – 5:00PM
Sunday-Thursday: 6:00PM – 9:00PM
Friday-Saturday: 6:00PM – 10:00 PM

School Lifeguard Hours 6:00PM – 9:00PM
Please note that the pool closes every evening at 9:00PM when school is in session.

The pool is always closed for lightening, bad weather or when the air temperature falls below 65 degrees.

Pool Schedule:
5:30AM - 6:30AM: Pool Cleaning
6:30AM – 8:00AM: Open swim/no lifeguard
8:00AM – 9:00AM: Optional Swim Team
9:00AM – Noon: Open swim / NO lifeguard
Noon – 1:30PM: Lap swim only / NO lifeguard
1:30PM – 5:00PM: Open swim lifeguard on duty
5:00PM – 6:00PM: Lap swim only / NO lifeguard
6:00PM – 9:00PM: Open Swim lifeguard on duty (Mon-Thurs)
6:00PM-10:00PM: Swim lifeguard on duty (Fri-Sat)

Each week the pool is super-chlorinated by the addition of high levels of chlorine on Saturday night to kill bacteria and algae. The pool gates will remain locked until 12:00 PM Sunday.
